WTF is with electronic producers saying now that they don't like the sound of electronics? First the douchebag from LCD fucksystem is whining about people throwing sets from their laptops and "not trying to throw live shows", and now I read about Air saying that they "hate cut and paste". IT'S COMPUTER MUSIC FUCKTARDS. It's cut and paste, it's electronic, it's not anything that is for fucking should be definable. The fact that you're able to say this now, being that you made your fucking careers on computers, is totally egotistical and without bearing. If you have such a problem with computer music, stop fucking making it, you morons. Oh, but I guess then, no one would like you, because in the pop music world, your music would be what?
Undefinable.
In other news, my new job goes well, I have not had a lot to do lately but I imagine that will change when we release the first major product into retail, that product being Nexsyn, which I have been using in production for awhile now, and very much enjoying. It's very odd for me to be doing a job like this, I am again at a pace where I am more self-driven, which is nice. I also have to figure out how I am to work out all my taxes and such, as I am responsible for that crap in my own format with this gig. I am not crazy about this, but that is how things go.
I got asked to do the music to a talk show that is coming on CBS late night around here in april, and I have been working on that. Cheesey, simple 30 second loops, things like that.
Tomorrow I play uptown bar and grill with Diverje, around 10pm.
And, of course, don't foget to vote at alibi.com for the best of burque. You have until 3pm on the 12th to do so. Later than that, and you're a loser.
