a realization

well, after tonight's show, I've come to a realization.

my music, while good, will never get people all frothed up at shows until I push the envelope. unfortunetly, pushing the envelope means the following:

1. ditching my instrumental songs - most every one of them.
2. writing songs about shit that does not mean anything. make the listener feel degraded, like I'm the rockstar, and they're the lowly listener (trust me - I hate this... but people seem to want this in music now).
3. probably asking my super-hot girlfriend to be on stage at all times doing nothing but being hot, to get people to pay attention.
4. writing lyrics to every song.
5. being "edgy" and making tunes that are "harsh".

As I do not live in the Uk - a place where you can seemingly do any kind of electronic music and get popular for it, I'll have to either start to work on this, or I will never, ever reach a level where I am creating the kind of buzz I need.

So; does anyone want to start an electroclash/synthpunk project?

I'm serious about being famous. the time has come. if you're interested - you should let me know. but understand that I want to have tripled the amount of people hearing my music by the end of the year.
